AussieScum (6:23:33 PM): The name apparently comes from a Anderovian nickname for the place.... it's so close to Myreth and that's where it's rumored a whole bunch of Elven Spectres and Ghosts hang out
AussieScum (6:24:13 PM): Established by the army of Andover to provide a staging point for sorties into the forest it has survived only because of it's strategic location.
AussieScum (6:24:25 PM): It's changed hands a few times over the years....
AussieScum (6:24:49 PM): But it's never been destroyed, since the occupants always realize the strategic value of a keep so close to a border
AussieScum (6:25:19 PM): It's never held a large garrison, owing to it's distance from anything resembling a major population center.
